Back in 1845, Dr. Horace Day pioneered the use of rubber adhesive on fabric strips, creating what we now know as Surgical Tape. Fast forward to 1921, Earle Dickson revolutionised healthcare with the invention of the Band-Aid, inspired by his wife's kitchen mishaps.
But the tape revolution didn't stop there! In 1925, Richard Drew of 3M developed the world's first masking tape to help auto painters achieve clean paint lines. This innovation led to the birth of the iconic Scotch brand.
During World War II in 1942, Johnson and Johnson introduced Duct Tape to seal and repair equipment for troops. And the rest, as they say, is history!
